Our Clays CCI - "The Smoking Clay"

NEW! WHITE FLYER BIO...ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY CLAY

We have recently added to our range the White Flyer Bio™ clay. They mark a total departure from traditional clay making techniques and are the result of 20 years of research by White Flyer, a division of Reagent Chemical and Research Inc. of America.

The formula is totally non-toxic and biodegradable on repeated contact with water. Both surfaces are painted with orange fluorescent paint for better visibility and the results are spectacular when used for night shooting. The degradation period takes between 1 and 2 years, but the clays won't degrade under normal storage conditions or in the traphouse.

We have worked with White Flyer to develop an international version of the clay suitable for European traps and disciplines and the clays conform to regulations for domestic and international competitions.
For more information please contact us.

Our clays are made to UIT/ISU specifications and are used in competitions internationally.

Trap suitability
Our clays are suitable for launching from both manual and automatic traps. They have the strength and consistent size to avoid breakages in the trap.

'Smoking' Clays
At CCI we specially formulate our mix to produce a clay that 'smokes' when hit, shattering in a cloud of coloured dust. The clays can even 'smoke' when hit by a stray pellet to maximise the shooters enjoyment and maintain high scores.

You'll need the Flash plug-in to use this feature. It only takes about a minute to download, you can get it from here.

Stable Consistent Flight
Our unique 'Swirl' profile has been computer designed to achieve a stable, consistent flight path time after time. This is of particular importance to the skeet shooter. A mild driving band gives extra spin and assists launching especially in the wet.

Clay separation
We have designed our Standard target, the 'Swirl', with a chamfer on the top of the outer rim. This provides separation between the targets when they are stacked and so avoids them sticking together in the trap. It assists the use of knife-separators on automatic traps. Three Notches in the chamfer prevent suction in the wet.
